Neck extensions using a flexible collar
The cervical spine is different from the rest of the spine, mostly because through the spinal canal and pass brain arteries involved in supplying blood to the brain. Additionally, spinal artery is wrapped with fibres of the sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for transmission of pain signals. During osteochondrosis in the neck when teasing of these fibres occurs, the following symptoms may appear: headaches, fatigue, insomnia, tinnitus, numbness of fingers and shoulder, deterioration of hearing and vision, dizziness, impaired coordination of movement. These are all neurological signs of osteochondrosis of the neck.
Spine extension treatment
During the neck stretching, partially or completely overlapping parts of the spine are removed. As a result of applying a flexible collar extension, the distance between parts of the spine can be increased from 1 to 2.5 mm and the vertical space between the vertebrae from 0.2 to 0.65 mm respectively.
It is due to the strength of the transverse muscles of the affected spinal section. During the stretching, the disc deformation is decreased. Extension with flexible collar helps in revitalizing the muscle and connective tissue surrounding the spinal discs; restores sensation of hands, losing numbness and tingling, returns and active movement of the spine, improves circulation to the brain; allows normalization of hearing, vision and memory; removes psycho-emotional disorders and depression and normalize sleep.
